Winners in the "high-speed industrial doors" segment: we are "world market leaders for 2018"

Efaflex Redaktion Blog from Mar 25, 2020 8:23:45 AM

This year marked another year in which we were able to win one of the 461 total spots allocated to world market leaders. The World Market Leader Index is an annual showcase for “hidden champions” from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

We have been elected world market leaders in the “construction industry” sector.

The selection criteria for this prize include our leading market share in the business segment, an annual turnover of more than 50 million euros – at least half of which is generated abroad – and our activities on five continents.

As scientific director of the project, Prof. Dr Christoph Müller from the HBM Unternehmerschule [Henri B. Meier School of Entrepreneurs] at the University of St. Gallen is responsible for creating the annual index. A strict selection process determines whether the so-called “hidden champions” meet the criteria for inclusion. As cooperating partners, the Akademie Deutscher Weltmarktführer [Academy of German World Market Leaders] (based in Schwäbisch Hall), owned by retired Minister of Economics for the state of Baden-Württemberg Dr Walter Döring, and the WirtschaftsWoche weekly business news magazine actively contribute towards the creation of the World Market Leader Index.

Being officially counted among the ranks of German world market leaders represents a particular distinction for our company. Every day, each of our 1,200 employees makes a contribution towards ensuring that our technology enjoys global success when it comes to industry, trades, food manufacturing, and the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. This means that this title is not only a milestone for our company in general, but also a distinction for all our employees.

Efaflex Redaktion Blog from Feb 11, 2020 12:36:00 PM

Anyone who works in a cleanroom understands the complex hygiene procedure even before entering the workplace: protective clothing must be put on. Everything that could contaminate the environment should be covered: shoes, hair and clothing are covered by a hygiene suit. Jewellery is removed, hands are disinfected, and a mouthguard is mandatory. In addition to the personal safety equipment of the users, access to the cleanroom is a critical point. It takes place via locks that are controlled by special doors. The EFAFLEX CR cleanroom series was specifically designed for the requirements of strictly controlled production areas and are used daily in various industries worldwide.
